Spinning® class offers a low-impact substitute to running on a treadmill that anyone looking to strengthen their legs can participate in! 

Our class is open to all fitness levels so that anyone can reach their fitness goals! The instructor will take you for an imaginary ride where you control the intensity. First-timers and highly trained athletes can get great workouts in the same class. The only requirement is to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated! 

Ugi

Designed specifically for realistic and sustainable results, Ugi is a fast and effective training style aimed at boosting your energy and health while  helping you feel good about your body. The Ugi ball has the squish of a beanbag, the bounce-back of a stress ball, and the beauty of simple  design, so you can accomplish a total-body workout with one tool.   Ugi is the ultimate 30-minute workout that combines strength, cardio and core training into the most fun, challenging, stylish way of becoming functionally fit.  This group fitness class is kept at small, manageable size so the instructor can properly instruct you on how to transition properly into the next exercise.

Battle Stations Bootcamp

This 50-minute intense cardio/strength fitness class will keep you moving through a circuit style workout. Be ready for anything and EVERYTHING!!

This workout will have you feeling wow'd by the change up in your routine. These compound full bodyweight exercises combined with light dumbbells and on-spot cardio will have you burning calories for up to 30 hours after this session.

Spin & strength 25/25

Work up a sweat with this effective, calorie burning combination of cardio (Spin bikes), weights, kettlebells and/or medicine balls.  This 50-minute fast paced fitness class is designed to engage all muscle groups.  Minimal rest, all out effort!! 

Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates exercises are aimed at improving flexibility and muscle tone, along with the spine and lower back. They also focus on body balance, as well as promoting mind-body awareness. 

 There are numerous benefits of mat Pilates. It can be performed by almost anyone at any level of fitness. With its focus on the core (i.e., the abdomen, back, and gluteus) it not only improves posture but athletic ability, flexibility, and endurance. Mat exercises have also been shown to decrease body fat and increase balance. 

Yoga

Yoga is an important exercise that allows for rest, while also extending and strengthening muscles. Most types include breathing, meditation, and posing. These movements stretch and flex many muscle groups. Men's Boxing

Our boxing sessions consists of Shadow-boxing, pad work, heavybags, speedbag, double-end bag, slip ball, conditioning & agility drills are a few of the numerous activities done during sessions.
For clients with no boxing background, fundamentals & conditioning are the points of focus in the beginning. As clients & students basic skills & fitness develop, technique & strategy plays a larger role in the program. When the instructor feels the student is ready, incorporating sparring into the program is strongly suggested, but is always optional. 


Women's boxing

Our women's boxing class will train your whole body through a system of  rounds to create a one-of-a-kind workout experience that strengthens and sculpts your muscles, burns body fat, builds beautiful boxers, and strengthens you to take on the rest of your day.

Women's boxing classes teach basic boxing skills and techniques such as; stance, guard, movement, jab, cross, hook. It increases strength and improves endurance. Our boxing classes will include cardio calisthenics, shadow boxing, bag work, partner drills, pad work and some ab-on-fire core strengthening exercises.  One of the best fitness classes we offer.

Bar(re) bootcamp

During the Bar(re) fitness Boot camp you will do exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements." Also, don't be surprised if your class incorporates light weights, small medicine balls or body bars to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work.  

Fitness Reimbursement

 Reimbursement of your fitness center membership! You read that right—many health insurance providers in Massachusetts are offering money back on your health club dues.    Most require a certain number of visits to the gym to qualify, typically 50 in a 6 month period. That’s twice a week. Most Cutting Edge Fitness & Martial Arts Center members cover that with ease. 

You should definitely check to see if your insurance carrier participates, and contact them for the specifics of the coverage that applies to you. Otherwise, you’re probably leaving money on the table. And let your friends know, too. Don’t let them settle for a cheap, inferior gym experience when they could be enjoying Cutting Edge Fitness & Martial Arts Center for a similar cost.
